Job Summary
PCU RN responsibilities include providing care for progressively monitored patients, recording vital signs and medical information, preparing equipment and assisting physicians during exams and treatments, and monitoring/adjusting specialized equipment with electronic displays to guide treatment. Requires RN licensure and emphasizes patient monitoring, documentation, and collaboration with physicians, with a 3x12 Night shift in Rockaway, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license or eligibility for RN licensure in New Jersey
- PCU nursing experience preferred
- Ability to monitor cardiac and other vital information using computer equipment
- Ability to record patient medical information and vital signs
- Ability to prepare equipment and assist physician during examination and treatment
- Ability to monitor and adjust specialized equipment and interpret displays
