Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN position located in New Jersey. Responsibilities include caring for patients requiring close monitoring and frequent assessment, recording medical information and vital signs, preparing equipment and assisting physicians, and monitoring/adjusting specialized equipment with interpretation of electronic displays to guide treatment. Shift: 3x12 nights. Healthcare professionals must monitor cardiac and other vital information using computer equipment and maintain accurate documentation in EMR. Strong patient assessment skills and collaboration with the care team are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Current registered nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
- PCU nursing experience
- Ability to monitor vital signs and operate medical equipment
- Assist physician during examination and treatment
