Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RNs provide close monitoring for patients not requiring ICU care, using telemetry and vital-sign assessment. Responsibilities include recording patient medical information and vital signs, preparing equipment and assisting physicians during examinations and treatments, and monitoring/interpreting specialized equipment and electronic displays to guide treatment. Shift: 3x12 Nights; locations include Gladstone, NJ and Summit, NJ in New Jersey. Requires active RN license and related clinical competencies in a hospital setting. Strong assessment, telemetry interpretation, equipment preparation, and collaboration with physicians are essential.
Required Qualifications
- RN license in good standing
- CPR certification
- Minimum one year of nursing experience preferred in PCU/telemetry or similar unit
