Travel PACU RN

Travel PACU RN needed for a 13-week assignment in Los Alamos, NM. The PACU RN will provide specialized care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery, including assessing recovery, implementing post-operative care plans, administering prescribed medications, collaborating with the surgical team, and coordinating discharge instructions and patient handoffs. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, documenting assessments and interventions, operating PACU equipment (e.g., ventilators, monitors, infusion pumps), and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the recovery period. Required skills include critical thinking, strong communication, English proficiency, and the ability to work with a multidisciplinary team.
