Job Summary
PACU RN responsible for monitoring patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery, administering prescribed medications and treatments, collaborating with the surgical team, coordinating discharge or transport, documenting assessments and interventions, and ensuring patient safety using PACU equipment. Requires one year of PACU experience, RN license, BLS and ACLS. Travel 24-week assignment in Asheville, NC with comprehensive benefits and dedicated clinical support.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a PACU RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
Desired Qualifications
- PALS certification
- ENPC certification
- Other certifications may be required for this position
