Travel PACU RN

Travel PACU RN in Winston-Salem, NC for a 13-week assignment. Provide specialized post-anesthesia recovery care, assess patients post-surgery, monitor vital signs, administer medications, coordinate with surgical team, and facilitate discharge planning. Key duties include patient assessments, documentation, education for patients and families, and handoffs between OR, PACU, and post-PACU units. Requires PACU RN experience, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS; preferred certifications include PALS or ENPC. Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams are essential, along with the ability to operate PACU equipment and manage post-anesthesia recovery plans.
