Job Summary
Assess patients transferring from the operating room, monitor vital signs and levels of consciousness, and administer prescribed medications per post-anesthesia protocols. Document assessments, interventions, and recovery progress in medical records while responding promptly to emergency situations. Collaborate with the surgical team for comprehensive post-operative care, participate in handoff communications, and operate PACU-specific equipment such as ventilators and infusion pumps. Maintain patient comfort and safety during the critical recovery period. One year of recent PACU experience and valid RN license required. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits included.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a PACU RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Critical thinking

- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
