Job Summary
Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient travel assignment in Socorro, NM. You will support patients as they regain mobility, manage pain, and restore physical function after injuries or surgeries under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Deliver therapeutic interventions, educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and equipment, and apply modalities such as manual therapy techniques and exercise prescriptions. Proficiency in assistive device training and strong communication and teamwork abilities are desired.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Valid New Mexico state PTA license
- BLS certification
