Job Summary
Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist role in Arlington, TX delivering outpatient orthopedic physical therapy as a traveling clinician. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, timely and accurate documentation, and supporting patient and staff education. Maintain licensure and adhere to state practice acts and organizational policies; participate in performance improvement and promote patient and employee safety. Typical schedule is 40 hours/week across 5x8 shifts (13-week assignment) with travel housing and license reimbursement provided. Requires PT degree (PT, DPT, or equivalent) and active Texas license; prefer orthopedic outpatient experience and ability to supervise students. Location highlights include Arlington, TX. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active Texas physical therapy license required to start the assignment
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in orthopedics
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Experience with outpatient documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry
- Ability to supervise and delegate to support staff and students as applicable
