Job Summary
Travel outpatient Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Sachse, TX. Provide 60-minute evaluations and treatment sessions in an outpatient clinic, develop evaluation and plan of care, and document using electronic medical records. Will supervise and delegate to support staff and participate in student clinical education; require TX PT license and BLS may be required; 40 hours per week on 8-hour shifts in an outpatient setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active Texas Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Outpatient physical therapy experience required, including evaluation and plan of care development
- Experience providing 60-minute evaluations and treatments preferred
- Documentation experience including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessment, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in electronic medical records systems
- Ability to supervise and delegate to support staff and participate in student clinical education preferred
- Adherence to state Practice Act, professional codes of conduct, and completion of state-mandated continuing education
