Job Summary
Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist position in Mt Washington, KY. Travel assignment for 13 weeks, 40 hours/week (5x8 schedule) in an outpatient clinic. Requires licensure as a Physical Therapist in Kentucky, and a degree in Physical Therapy (Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral) from an accredited program. BLS may be required. Responsibilities include evaluation, treatment planning, goal writing, documentation, and possible supervision of therapy aides and students in an outpatient setting. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active Kentucky Physical Therapist license is required to start the assignment
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Outpatient physical therapy experience as a licensed clinician within the last 3 years is required. No new graduates
- Demonstrated competency in comprehensive evaluation, individualized treatment planning, goal writing, and timely documentation per clinic and payer requirements
- Experience with outpatient documentation systems, charge entry, and letters of medical necessity preferred
- Ability to supervise and provide direction to therapy aides, support staff, and students when assigned
- Maintain professional licensure and complete state-mandated continuing education. Adhere to state practice act and organizational code of conduct
