Job Summary
Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist in Gainesville, VA for a 13-week travel assignment at an outpatient facility. 40 hours/week with 8-hour day shifts; guaranteed 36 hours with potential up to 40 hours. Requires Virginia PT license and possibly BLS. Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred; high-volume schedule (roughly 60 visits per week, 12–14 patients per day) and ability to double-book follow-up visits. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the APTA
- Active Virginia state physical therapy license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
- Experience treating general orthopedic patient population required
- Experience with lymphedema or physical/lymphedema specialty is a plus
- Productivity experience consistent with seeing 12–14 patients per day and achieving approximately 60 visits per week is preferred
- Must be able to work a guaranteed 36 hours with expectation to work up to 40 hours; overtime must be approved
- PT (not PTA).
- First-time travelers accepted. New graduates not accepted.
- Ability to double-book follow-up visits and manage a high-volume outpatient schedule
