Job Summary
Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist needed in Meridianville, AL for a 13-week travel assignment at an outpatient clinic. Responsibilities include treating patients recovering from injuries and managing chronic conditions in an outpatient orthopedics setting; expected to work up to 40 hours per week (36-hour guaranteed) with a productivity target of about 60 visits per week and 12–14 patients per day. Requires PT degree (BS, MS, or DPT/PhD), Alabama PT license, and BLS; new graduates and first-time travelers welcome; PTA candidates will not be considered. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active Alabama PT license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required prior to start
- Outpatient orthopedics experience preferred
- Productivity expectation: ability to meet approximately 60 visits per week and see 12–14 patients per day
- Experience with double-booking follow-up visits preferred
- Ability to work up to 40 hours per week with a 36-hour guarantee
- OT/PTA: PTs only. PTA candidates will not be accepted
- First-time travelers and new graduates are acceptable
