Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist needed for a 13-week outpatient clinic assignment in Chelsea, MA. Responsibilities include patient assessment, plan of care development, goal setting, and documentation in EMR, with a focus on orthopedic physical therapy. Requires Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and active MA PT license prior to start, BLS certification, and 1-2 years of hospital/rehabilitation/outpatient experience. Schedule is 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts (08:00–16:30). Benefits include housing/travel/license reimbursements as applicable to the contract. Assignments at an outpatient hospital/clinic setting with potential coordination across quality-improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Licensure from Massachusetts prior to start
- Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license
- BLS certification
- 1-2 years of PT experience in hospital/rehabilitation/outpatient
- Orthopedic physical therapy experience
- EMR experience preferred
- Demonstrated skills in patient assessment, plan-of-care development, goal setting, documentation, and outcome evaluation
- Experience supervising PTAs preferred
