Job Summary
Travel Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist needed for a 13-week travel assignment in Pueblo, CO. The role involves treating outpatient orthopedic injuries in an outpatient clinic setting, evaluating and communicating patient progress to physicians, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and providing post-operative rehabilitation and manual therapy as applicable. Requires a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy, a current Colorado PT license, and BLS certification if required. Schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with travel benefits including housing and relocation assistance. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Current, unrestricted Colorado Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment
- BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Experience evaluating and treating outpatient orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries in a clinic setting
- Experience communicating treatment plans and patient progress to physicians, including orthopedic and hand surgeons
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and assist colleagues in identifying clinical issues
- Client prefers clinicians with prior outpatient clinic experience and experience treating orthopedic caseloads
- Preferred: experience with post-operative rehabilitation and manual therapy techniques
