Job Summary
Prepare sterile supplies and instruments for each assigned procedure, maintaining the sterile field during cases and providing the surgeon with necessary items throughout. Scrub minor and major procedures in generalized surgical specialties such as GYN, general, and plastics, as well as minor procedures in ortho, neuro, ENT, and urology. Maintain a current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and throughout employment. This per diem role is available in Redding, CA, with daily gross pay up to $1,120.00. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Graduate of an ORT training program or on the job training with a minimum of 3 years experience
- Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in the generalized surgical specialties
- Experience in scrubbing at least minor procedures in the specialty surgical areas
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate
- Minimum 1 year of OR Tech experience
