Job Summary
Prepare sterile supplies and instruments for each assigned procedure, maintaining the sterile field during cases and providing the surgeon with necessary tools throughout the operation. Scrub minor and major procedures across generalized surgical specialties, including GYN, general, and plastics, as well as ortho, neuro, ENT, and urology. Maintain current BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and throughout employment. This per diem role offers daily gross pay up to $1,120, with an estimated range of $65 to $80 per hour, available immediately in Redding, CA.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Graduate of an ORT training program or on the job training with a minimum of 3 years experience
- Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in the generalized surgical specialties
- Experience in scrubbing at least minor procedures in the specialty surgical areas
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate
- Minimum 1 year of OR Tech experience
