Job Summary
Prepare sterile supplies and instruments for each assigned procedure while maintaining the sterile field during cases. Provide the surgeon with necessary sterile supplies and instruments throughout assigned procedures. Maintain current BLS (AHA) certification upon hire. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, ORT training program completion, and minimum one year of Operating Room Tech experience in surgical settings. Available for per diem shifts at Premiere Healthcare Staffing's award-winning hospital partners across the nation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Graduate of an ORT training program or on the job training with a minimum of 3 years experience
- Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in the generalized surgical specialties
- Experience in scrubbing at least minor procedures in the specialty surgical areas
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate
- Minimum 1 year of OR Tech experience
