Job Summary
Prepare sterile supplies and instruments for assigned procedures, maintaining the sterile field throughout the case and providing the surgeon with necessary items during operations. Experience scrubbing minor and major procedures in generalized, GYN, general, plastics, ortho, neuro, ENT, and urology specialties is required. Maintain a current BLS (AHA) certificate and possess at least one year of OR Tech experience. This per diem day shift role offers flexible opportunities with award-winning hospital partners across the nation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Graduate of an ORT training program or on the job training with a minimum of 3 years experience (surgical setting preferred)
- Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in the generalized surgical specialties, (i.e., GYN, General and Plastics)
- Experience in scrubbing at least minor procedures in the specialty surgical areas (i.e., ortho, neuro, ENT, Uro. Etc.)
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Minimum 1 year of OR Tech experience
