Job Summary
Prepare sterile supplies and instruments for assigned procedures, maintaining the sterile field throughout the case and providing the surgeon with necessary items during surgery. Scrub minor and major procedures across generalized surgical specialties, including GYN, general, and plastics, as well as ortho, neuro, ENT, and urology. Maintain a current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and throughout employment. This per diem role offers flexible scheduling with daily gross pay ranging from $910 to $1,120.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Graduate of an ORT training program or on the job training with a minimum of 3 years experience
- Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in the generalized surgical specialties
- Experience in scrubbing at least minor procedures in the specialty surgical areas
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate
- Minimum 1 year of OR Tech experience
