Job Summary
Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in a Rutland, Vermont facility. Responsibilities include preparing the operating room, ensuring instruments and sterile supplies are ready, positioning and preparing patients for surgery, maintaining a sterile field and infection control, assisting the surgical team, handling instruments and specimens, documenting patient care, and facilitating smooth handoffs pre- and post-operatively. Works with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and high-quality perioperative care and adheres to PPE and safety protocols. Required: 1 year of OR experience, RN license, and BLS certification. Preferred: ACLS/PALS or ENPC, CNOR; additional certifications and licenses may be required.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
