Job Summary
The Operating Room Registered Nurse provides comprehensive perioperative patient care during a 13-week travel assignment in Casper, Wyoming. Responsibilities include preparing the operating room, managing surgical instruments and equipment, maintaining a sterile field, assisting with patient positioning, monitoring patient status, documenting care, and coordinating handoffs. The role requires collaboration with the surgical team, adherence to infection control and PPE protocols, and turnover/cleaning duties to ensure safe, high-quality perioperative care.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent Operating Room RN experience
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
