Job Summary
Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment in San Marcos, TX. Responsibilities include preparing the OR, maintaining sterile technique, assisting with patient positioning, monitoring patient condition during surgery, handling instruments and specimens, documenting care, and coordinating handoffs. Must demonstrate critical thinking, excellent communication, and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary surgical team while adhering to infection control and safety protocols. Requires an active RN license, BLS certification, and at least one year of OR experience; ACLS/PALS/ENPC and CNOR are preferred. Travel stipend benefits and comprehensive insurance are provided.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
