13-week travel assignment as an Operating Room RN at a Globe, Arizona facility. Responsibilities include preparing the operating room with instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies; assisting in patient positioning and preparation for surgery; maintaining a sterile field and adhering to infection control protocols; anticipating the needs of the surgical team and supplying instruments and support; monitoring the patient’s condition during surgery and documenting changes; handling instruments and supplies, ensuring sterilization and proper disposal; managing specimen collection and transport; accurate documentation of perioperative care; participating in patient handoff communication; assisting with room turnover and restocking; collaborating with the surgical team to ensure policy compliance; following hospital safety rules and PPE usage; performing other duties within scope. Essential skills include critical thinking, service excellence, strong interpersonal communication, English literacy, ability to follow instructions, and physical and motor capabilities to support procedures in a busy OR environment.
