Job Summary
Travel OR RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Palmer, Alaska with Fusion Medical Staffing. The role involves preparing the operating room, maintaining sterile technique, assisting with patient positioning and turnover, monitoring patient condition during procedures, handling instruments and specimens, documenting care, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and high-quality perioperative care. Requires OR RN experience, active RN license, and BLS; ACLS/PALS/ENPC and CNOR are preferred. Strong critical thinking, communication, and team collaboration skills are essential. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- ACLS (AHA/ARC), PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certifications (Preferred)
- OR Nursing Certification (CNOR) (Preferred)
