Job Summary
Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in San Marcos, TX, providing perioperative patient care, preparing the OR, maintaining sterile technique, assisting in patient positioning, monitoring intraoperative status, instrument handling, specimen transport, documentation, handoffs, and collaboration with the surgical team. Requires critical thinking, strong communication, English proficiency, ability to read and follow instructions, and physical ability to move equipment. Preferred certifications include ACLS, PALS or ENPC, CNOR; licensure reimbursement and comprehensive benefits offered.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
