Job Summary
Prepare the operating room by ensuring instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies are ready for each surgical procedure. Assist in positioning and preparing patients, maintaining a sterile field throughout procedures while adhering to infection control protocols. Anticipate surgical team needs, monitor patient conditions, document care, and manage specimen collection and transport. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with facility policies and participate in patient handoffs. Clean and restock the operating room between cases. Requires one year of recent OR RN experience, valid RN license, and current BLS certification. 13-week travel assignment in Easton, Pennsylvania.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
