Job Summary
Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Socorro, NM. Provides perioperative patient care, including preparing the operating room, managing surgical equipment, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. Responsibilities include sterile technique, instrument handling, patient positioning, documentation, handoff communication, and adherence to infection control and safety standards in a dynamic surgical environment. Requires OR nursing experience, RN license, and BLS; ACLS/PALS or CNOR certifications preferred.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- ACLS (AHA/ARC) or PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certifications (preferred)
- OR Nursing Certification (CNOR) (preferred)
- Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position
