Job Summary
Operating Room Registered Nurse on a 13-week travel assignment in Farmington, CT. Essential duties include preparing the operating room and ensuring instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies are ready; assisting in positioning patients and maintaining a sterile field; handling surgical instruments, sterility, and specimen transport; monitoring the patient during surgery and communicating with the surgeon; documenting care and participating in handoffs; assisting with turnover and room readiness while adhering to infection control and PPE protocols; collaborating with the surgical team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered perioperative care.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
