Job Summary
The Operating Room RN provides perioperative patient care in a 13-week travel assignment in Jackson, MS. Responsibilities include preparing the operating room with instruments and sterile supplies, assisting with patient positioning, maintaining a sterile field, anticipating and delivering instruments and supplies to the surgical team, monitoring the patient during surgery, handling specimens, documenting care, coordinating handoffs, and ensuring infection control and PPE adherence. Must have 1 year OR experience, an active RN license, and current BLS; ACLS/PALS or CNOR are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
