Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Mesa, Arizona. Responsibilities include preparing the operating room with instruments and sterile supplies, assisting in patient positioning, maintaining a sterile field and infection control, anticipating and supplying needs of the surgical team, monitoring patient condition during procedures, handling instruments and specimens, documenting patient care perioperatively, and ensuring smooth handoffs between pre- and post-operative phases. Collaboration with the surgical team to adhere to safety protocols and facility standards, along with following PPE and infection prevention measures. Required skills include critical thinking, strong interpersonal communication, English language proficiency, ability to read/write and follow instructions, and basic PC skills. Physical and sensory capabilities to move and assist with equipment, operate in a fast-paced surgical environment, and maintain concentration under varying workload.
