Job Summary
The Operating Room Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient care throughout the perioperative process in a 13-week travel assignment in Orange Park, FL. Responsibilities include preparing the operating room and equipment, positioning and preparing patients, maintaining a sterile field and infection control, anticipating and supplying instruments and supplies, monitoring patient status and documenting care, facilitating handoffs, and restocking the OR between cases. Requires 1 year of OR RN experience, valid RN license, and BLS; preferred ACLS/PALS/ENPC certifications and CNOR.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Preferred Qualifications: ACLS, PALS or ENPC; CNOR
