Job Summary
Operate within the perioperative setting as an OR RN on a 13-week travel assignment in Alexandria, LA. Responsibilities include preparing the operating room, positioning patients, maintaining sterile field, assisting with instruments, monitoring patient status, specimen handling, documenting care, handoffs, restocking, and collaborating with the surgical team. Requires OR experience, RN license, BLS; preferred ACLS/PALS or ENPC, CNOR. Strong critical thinking, communication, and ability to follow infection control and PPE protocols.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
