Job Summary
Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Mesquite, TX. Responsibilities include preparing the operating room, assisting with patient positioning, maintaining a sterile field, providing instruments and supplies to the surgical team, monitoring the patient during surgery, documenting perioperative care, coordinating handoffs, and ensuring turnover and infection control protocols are followed. Requires OR experience, an active RN license, and current BLS certification. Preferred: ACLS, PALS or ENPC certifications and CNOR. The role offers travel pay, benefits, and support from a dedicated clinical team.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
