Job Summary
Prepare the operating room by ensuring all instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies are ready for each surgical procedure. Assist in positioning patients, maintain a sterile field, and anticipate team needs to ensure efficient workflow. Monitor patient conditions during surgery, document care, manage specimens, and participate in pre- and post-operative handoffs. Clean and restock the OR between cases while adhering to infection control protocols. Collaborate with the surgical team to comply with facility policies and safety rules. Requires one year of OR RN experience, valid RN license, and current BLS certification. 13-week travel assignment in Jupiter, Florida with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Critical thinking
