Job Summary
Prepare the operating room by ensuring all instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies are ready for each surgical procedure. Assist in positioning and preparing patients for surgery while maintaining a sterile field and adhering to infection control protocols. Monitor the patient's condition during procedures, document significant changes, and manage specimen collection and transport. Collaborate with the surgical team to anticipate needs, ensure efficient workflow, and participate in patient handoff communication. Clean and restock the operating room between cases and follow facility policies and safety rules. Requires one year of recent OR RN experience, valid RN license, BLS certification, and ACLS/PALS or CNOR preferred. 13-week travel assignment in Austell, Georgia with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
