Job Summary
Conduct telemetry monitoring by measuring heart rate, blood pressure, breathing rate, blood oxygen levels, and electrocardiogram data while identifying irregular readings and notifying the medical team. Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications, reporting adverse reactions per policy, and monitor specialized equipment used on patients. Assist physicians during examinations and treatments by preparing necessary equipment. Work a 3x12 night shift schedule.
Required Qualifications
- 3x12 Nights shift availability
- Ability to prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications
- Ability to report adverse reactions to medications
- Knowledge of policies regarding medication administration and adverse reaction reporting
- Ability to identify irregular telemetry readings
- Ability to notify medical team members regarding irregular telemetry readings
- Ability to monitor specialized equipment used on patients
- Ability to interpret electronic displays of specialized equipment
- Knowledge of heart rate measurement
- Knowledge of blood pressure measurement
- Knowledge of breathing rate measurement
- Knowledge of blood oxygen level measurement
