Job Summary
Evaluate and monitor patient progress, identifying sudden or subtle changes in medical conditions. Calculate drug dosages, titrate medication doses, administer continuous infusions, and monitor patients for medication effects. Collaborate closely with physicians and all healthcare professionals to provide care in transitional units for patients too sick for med-surg but not requiring intensive care. Work a 3x12 night shift. This role supports the hospital's transitional care model for patients in a critical recovery phase.
Required Qualifications
- Stepdown RN
- Evaluate and monitor patient's progress, identifying sudden or subtle changes in the patient's medical condition
- Calculate drug dosage, titrate medication doses, administer continuous medication infusion and monitor patients for effects of medication
- Work closely and collaborate with physicians and all other healthcare professionals
- Available for 3x12 Nights shifts
