Job Summary
Psychiatric RN provides direct patient care within a multidisciplinary team to deliver outcome-based treatment. Responsibilities include supervising medication schedules, evaluating patient progress through behavioral changes, monitoring and recording medication/treatment results, and assisting patients in improving coping abilities. The role requires strong clinical assessment skills, ability to educate patients and families on symptoms, treatment, and discharge instructions, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure quality psychiatric care.
Required Qualifications
- RN license in good standing
- eligibility to practice as a Psychiatric Nurse (RN) in Oklahoma
- compliance with hospital/clinical standards
- availability for shift work (3x12)
