Job Summary
Plan and manage patient care by administering and monitoring medications, performing dressing changes, and caring for intravenous lines. Act as the eyes and ears of registered nurses and physicians to conduct accurate vital sign assessments. Supervise nursing assistants and lead groups of nurses while finding and addressing solutions for patient care plan problems. This 3 x 12 night shift role in Sweetwater, Tennessee, supports the local medical-surgical team.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Supervise nursing assistants
- Act as the leader of a group of nurses
- Find, address, and provide solutions for any problems a specific patient might have in terms of their care plan
- Administer intravenous medication and fluids
