Job Summary
LTAC RNs provide quality patient care during assessment, intervention, and evaluation; collaborate with the healthcare team to formulate and implement a care plan; responsibilities include dispensing medications and managing chest tubes, ventilators, wound VACs, critical care IV drips, feeding tubes, and central lines; monitor patient status and outcomes; guide and supervise clinical support staff; shift: 3x12 nights.
Required Qualifications
- RN license required for LTAC setting
- Long Term Acute Care Nursing experience preferred
- ability to monitor and manage ventilators, chest tubes, wound vacs, IV drips, feeding tubes, central lines
- shift flexibility to 3x12 nights
