Travel OR Charge Nurse

Oversees OR operations and nursing staff during assigned days and nights shifts, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and compliance with regulations. Manages staffing, scheduling, and daily assignments while supervising, coaching, and supporting staff development and performance. Coordinates surgical services, patient flow, and care transitions, rounds with patients and families, and provides direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing standards. Addresses patient care concerns and escalates issues through the appropriate chain of command. Requires a current state RN license, one year as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital with E.D. experience, and previous supervisory experience in an acute care surgical OR setting. Available for 12-week assignments in Lewiston, Maine, with pay up to $2,297 gross per week plus a $3/hour differential.
