Travel OR Charge Nurse

Oversee OR operations and nursing staff during assigned shifts, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and compliance with regulations. Manage staffing, scheduling, and daily assignments while supervising, coaching, and supporting staff development. Coordinate surgical services, patient flow, and care transitions, and monitor supplies, equipment, and department readiness. Rounds with patients and families to support a positive experience, providing direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing standards. Address patient care concerns and escalate issues through the appropriate chain of command. Requires a current state RN license, previous supervisory experience in an acute care surgical OR setting, and valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Assignment length is 12 weeks with pay up to $2,297 gross per week.
