Travel OR Charge Nurse

Oversee OR operations and nursing staff during assigned shifts, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and compliance with regulations. Manage staffing, scheduling, and daily assignments while supervising, coaching, and supporting staff development. Assist with performance management and HR activities, monitor supplies and equipment readiness, and coordinate surgical services and patient flow. Address patient care concerns, escalate issues through the chain of command, round with patients and families, and provide direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing standards. Requires current RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, plus one year of acute care experience with one to two years in surgical OR supervision. Available for 12-week assignments in Lewiston, Maine, with days and nights shifts.
