Travel OR Charge Nurse

Oversees OR operations and nursing staff during assigned shifts, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and compliance with regulations. Manages staffing, scheduling, and daily assignments while supervising, coaching, and supporting staff development. Coordinates surgical services, patient flow, and care transitions, monitors supplies and equipment readiness, and rounds with patients to support a positive experience. Provides direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing standards and addresses patient care concerns through the appropriate chain of command. Requires current RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and sedation monitoring certifications, plus one year of acute care experience and one to two years of surgical OR supervisory experience. Available for 12-week assignments in Lewiston, Maine, with days and nights shifts.
