Travel OR Charge Nurse

Oversee OR operations and nursing staff during assigned days and nights shifts, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and compliance with regulations and hospital policies. Manage staffing, scheduling, and daily assignments while supervising, coaching, and supporting staff development and performance. Assist with performance management and HR-related activities, monitor supplies and equipment readiness, and coordinate surgical services and patient flow. Round with patients and families to support a positive patient experience, providing direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing standards. Address patient care concerns and escalate issues through the appropriate chain of command. Requires a current state RN license, one year of acute care experience with one to two years in surgical OR supervision, and valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Assignment length is 12 weeks at an award-winning hospital partner in Lewiston, Maine, with pay up to $2,297 gross per week plus a $3/hour differential.
