Travel OR Charge Nurse

Oversee OR operations and nursing staff during assigned shifts, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and compliance with regulations. Manage staffing, scheduling, and daily assignments while supervising, coaching, and supporting staff development. Monitor supplies, equipment, and department readiness; coordinate surgical services, patient flow, and care transitions. Rounds with patients and families to support a positive experience, providing direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing standards. Address patient care concerns and escalate issues through the appropriate chain of command. Requires current state RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Sedation Monitoring certifications, plus one year of acute care nursing experience and one to two years of supervisory experience in a surgical OR setting. Available for 12-week assignments in Lewiston, Maine, with days and nights shifts.
