Travel OR Charge Nurse

Oversee OR operations and nursing staff during assigned shifts, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and compliance with regulations. Manage staffing, scheduling, and daily assignments while supervising, coaching, and supporting staff development. Assist with performance management, HR activities, and monitoring supplies and equipment readiness. Coordinate surgical services, patient flow, and care transitions, rounding with patients and families to support a positive experience. Provide direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing standards. Requires current state RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Sedation Monitoring certifications, plus one year as a staff nurse with one to two years of previous supervisory experience in an acute care surgical OR setting. Available for 12-week assignments in Lewiston, Maine, with days and nights shifts.
