Travel OR Charge Nurse

Oversee OR operations and nursing staff during assigned shifts, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and compliance with regulations. Manage staffing, scheduling, and daily assignments while supervising, coaching, and supporting staff development. Monitor supplies, equipment, and department readiness; coordinate surgical services, patient flow, and care transitions. Rounds with patients and families to support a positive experience and provide direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing standards. Address patient care concerns and escalate issues through the appropriate chain of command. Requires current RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Sedation Monitoring certifications, plus one year of acute care experience with required previous supervisory experience in a Surgical OR setting. Available for days and nights shifts in Lewiston, Maine, with a 12-week assignment length.
