Job Summary
13-week travel Oncology RN assignment in Munster, Indiana. Administer oncology treatments, manage side effects, educate patients and families, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality, patient-centered care while adhering to confidentiality, integrity, and safety standards. Requires one year of Oncology RN experience, valid RN license, and current BLS; preferred OCN certification and ACLS. Essential duties include administering prescribed oncology medications, preparing oncology-specific equipment, monitoring patient comfort and side effects, documenting assessments and outcomes, and supporting oncology quality improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as Oncology RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Desired Qualifications
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred
- ACLS certification preferred
- Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position
